Destined to families of quilombola (maroon) communities of Marinhos and Sapé, located in the surroundings of Brumadinho, the project intended to value one of the traditional local artistic manifestations: percussion. Held in 2017, the Percussão Quilombola offered workshops encouraging the rendition and interpretation of the popular repertoire, in addition to value the importance of preserving the local musical culture.
