The Traveling Workshops considers every space at the museum and botanical garden to be a place of experience involving various artistic languages. Each week, our workshop moves to a different location, exploring how each space helps us discover new ways to create and experience both art and nature.

Abstract Writing, by Victória Brandão ↓
Rebeca Carapiá’s artistic practice involves the development of a new language, often expressed through organic forms that suggest the creation of alternative interpretations. Inspired by her work, Apenas depois da chuva (2024), participants are asked to invent new uses for words through the bending and malleability of wire.

Unstable Tasting in Balance, by Amanda Homem and Julio Gotelip ↓
Drawing inspiration on True Rouge (2002) by Tunga, visitors are asked to create poetic recipes in response to the question: “What does red taste like?” Through searching for the flavor of the color red, participants expand their ways of inquiring into and dialoguing with the artist’s work.

Between Aromas and Sensations, by Fernanda Morais ↓
The scents of flowers, fruits, and vegetables not only stimulate our senses but also offer significant health benefits. In this workshop, using Inhotim’s botanical collection, participants have the opportunity to create their own personal diffusers, incorporating the knowledge and therapeutic properties of plants and their oils.

As produções da artista Yayoi Kusama e seu conceito de auto-obliteração inspiraram esta oficina conduzida pela artista Ana Gaspar. Por meio da pintura, da subjetividade e da poesia, serão criadas telas com nebulosas que simbolizam universos individuais e que poderão integrar uma composição coletiva ao final.
