As part of the program for the 21st National Museum Week, Educativo Inhotim promotes, on May 19, at Viveiro Educador, an educational action dedicated to identifying plant species, in the contact zone between art and science — the Planted Portrait.

Stemming from the uses in popular culture of plants present in the Institute’s gardens and their most commonly known names, visitors will be invited to imagine the phytophysiognomies of the species in a practice similar to the facial composite.

The imagined plant species will be cataloged in a small booklet made collectively, that can be a reference for the observation of real plants. The activity takes place in two different times and has the duration of two hours.
