On the rooftop of Galeria Cosmococa, home to the works of Hélio Oiticica and Neville D’Almeida, Carioca singer songwriter Pedro Luís and Orquestra de Câmara Inhotim meet the songs of Luiz Melodia. The next edition of Inhotim em Cena 2021 invites you to witness this encounter.

The setlist sheds new light on the album Vale Quanto Pesa – Pérolas de Luiz Melodia, with exclusive arrangements created along with Orquestra de Câmara Inhotim, a result of the educational project Escola de Música Inhotim, conducted by maestro César Timóteo. Songs like ‘Juventude Transviada’ and ‘Feto, Poeta do Morro’ will be revisited; the latter, originally created for the album Pérola Negra (1973), was censored during the dictatorship and only in 2020 would have its release authorized by Melodia’s wife, Jane Reis, so that Pedro could have the honor of recording it.
