Every month, Inhotim’s Education team invites communities from Brumadinho and the region to take part in activities that seek to promote dialogue and connection with the Institute.
In July, Cia. Bando (MG), made up of actors and storytellers, presents a reinterpretation of the African myth The Wedding of Princess Abena. Joining theater and music, the performance reinforces the black identity in Brazil and entertains the audience.
The narrative talks about Abena’s beauty, which attracted visitors from all over to meet her and try to win her heart. But it was already filled with love for someone. Who will win this contest?
