Monthly Schedule

January at Inhotim

In 2025, new paths unfold at Inhotim, always with art, nature and education on the agenda.

January brings something new: throughout the month, the museum and botanical garden is open from Tuesday to Sunday.  Note the hours of operation: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

On January 25, Inhotim will be closed. Admission is free on January 8, 15, 22, and 29 (Wednesdays), and January 26 (last Sunday of the month).  Learn more in the Free Inhotim guide and get your ticket in advance.

This month, the Education team prepared something special: every open day at the park will feature a workshop by the Traveling Workshop. There are six different themes, each occupying a space at Inhotim. Activities range from collage and watercolor to sculpture and more.

The Panoramic Tour departs daily from the Reception to reveal details of the park’s history and collection to those who are interested. It is suitable for all ages.

Temporary exhibitions are also worth putting on your itinerary! Some opened in the last quarter of 2024: Homo sapiens sapiens by Pipilotti Rist, Apenas depois da chuva (2024) by Rebeca Carapiá, and Tangolomango by Rivane Neuenschwander. Others have been on display since April last year: Esconjuro by Paulo Nazareth, O Barco (2021) by Grada Kilomba, and the group exhibition Ensaios sobre paisagem. Meanwhile, Giro (2023) by Luana Vitra has occupied Galeria Marcenaria since 2023.
