August at Inhotim
August’s programming has plenty to offer for you to enjoy your trip at Inhotim. Learn more!
The August edition of “What is…?” features a series of events that invite reflections on the question What is a dream? On Sunday, August 11, Inhotim will host an oracular meditation with the artist Nadam Guerra, a conference with the neuroscientist, biologist and professor Sidarta Ribeiro, and a performance with the artist UÝRA.
Keep an eye out: it’s your last chance to see the exhibition Direito à forma, on view at the Fonte Gallery through August 4. Four other temporary exhibitions can be visited this month: Giro (2023), by Luana Vitra, at Marcenaria Gallery; O Barco (2021), by Grada Kilomba, at Galeria Galpão; Esconjuro, by Paulo Nazareth, at Praça Gallery; and Ensaios sobre paisagem, at Lago Gallery.
Botanical drawing, folding, painting with natural paints and photography are some of the artistic languages present in the August workshops at the Moving Workshop [inserir link quando tiver]. In each activity, different venues at Inhotim become places of experience, coexistence and creation.
For those who want to learn more about the history of the park, the suggestion is the Panoramic Tour. Mediated Visits , in turn, are ideal for reflecting on varied themes — such as time, freedom, hybridization, landscape and Brazilianness — based on the Institute’s artistic and botanical collection.
If you want to take your tour for free, just get your ticket for the Wednesdays or the last Sunday of the month, August 25. Learn more in the Free Inhotim guide.
